This Privacy notice explains how Analyticsgateway (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit https://analyticsgateway.digital or contact us about treasury control reviews and related services.

1. Data controller

Analyticsgateway is the data controller for personal data collected through this Site and related enquiry channels.

2. Data we collect

  • Enquiry data: name, email, optional service interest, and message content you submit via forms or email.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, when analytics cookies are accepted (see our Cookies page).
  • Engagement data: if you become a client, contact details and documents needed to perform the review, under the engagement letter.

We do not ask for identity card numbers, bank passwords, or payment-card data through the website form.

We use personal data to respond to enquiries, prepare proposals, deliver contracted reviews, improve the Site (where analytics are consented), and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Where Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) applies, we process data for purposes directly related to these functions and with your consent where required (for example, non-essential cookies).

4. Retention

  • Enquiry correspondence: typically up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is needed for a live proposal or dispute.
  • Client engagement files: retained for the period stated in the engagement letter or as required by professional and legal obligations (often seven years for working papers).
  • Analytics data: retained according to the cookie durations listed on the Cookies page.

5. Sharing

We may share data with IT and email hosting providers acting on our instructions, professional advisers, or authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Our primary operations and storage are in Hong Kong. If a provider processes data outside Hong Kong, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable safeguards and to inform you where required.

7. Your rights

Subject to the PDPO and applicable law, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, and information about our policies and practices. 8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

The Site is directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
